Blow Up - News and Information on the London Club and Record Label Blow Up has been running for over six years and has a weekly residency on Saturdays at The Wag Club after moving from The Laurel Tree Pub, where it all began in Camden. Music at Blow Up has always been eclectic and original, ranging from 6Ts R'n'B, Northern Soul, Orgasmic Pop, Psychedelic Grooves, Dancefloor Jazz and Sountracks to Spaceage Beats & Electronica. Blow Up also showcases new as well as older, more established live acts at the club on a weekly basis. Blow Up has recently released a compilation with V2 Records, featuring some of the finest cuts from the Blow Up dancefloor, some of which have never been widely available before, including rareties from Andy Williams, Georgie Fame, The Quik and The Johnny Otis Show, as well as popular classics like Spencer Davis Group's "I'm A Man", Buddy Rich's "The Beat Goes On" and the enormously popular "Blow Up A-Go-Go!" used by The Gap in their 'Khaki A-Go-Go' Summer ad campaign of '99. Blow Up also releases records through its own independent label 'Blow Up Records'. The Blow Up catalogue includes compilations such as the "Exclusive Blend" series of music library tracks, and the limited "1000 Series" 7"s as well as albums and singles for bands such as The Weekenders and Add N to X. Look out for the forthcoming album from Blow Up's most recent signings Big Boss Man, as well as a third volume of the Exclusive Blend series. menu
