"Edgily atmospheric psycheprog that simultaneously merges thundering guitar
riffs, swirling keyboard arpeggios, funked-up rhythms into a full-blown
garage metal pile up complete with bluesy slide guitars and wildly keening
vocals. Trap 2's songs possess an incessant quality which suggests that
they are in fact the missing link between The Duke Spirit and The Glitterati,
and as such the 5-piece do not belong in captivity, in a zoo or anywhere
else. Definately worth checking out."

"Intense, moody groove-rock with a vocalist who sounds like a partially
castrated Liam Gallagher and a nice line in Kasabian-esque beats."

"While they're down the record shop, the Oasis fans would be well advised
to pick up this debut EP from Trap2, and not merely because their leanings
towards music enjoyed by the hoary, hairy, and apelike is aptly served
by opening track 'Welcome To The Zoo'. They follow the Verve/Charlatans
apex of the lady baggy bumble music, and stick a bit of rock in. Apparently
Kasabian think Trap2 are a bit tasty. Enough said, save that Trap2's choice
of moniker has just knocked Biffy Clyro off the top spot in the 'crap
things to call your indie band' chart."

"Kasabian's new favourite band, Trap 2. Impressing audiences with their
groove-led exhuberance (if not their Viz-style name), Trap 2 have built
a strong reputation for their live antics, and have now gained favour
from Kasabian, 2005 could well be a year to savour for the Sheffield."

"Keep an eye open for Kasabian's mates Trap 2. Debut EP featuring Welcome
To The Zoo, is the Yorkshiremen at their best and they should add to their
already growing fan base on tour this month. They're not scared of powerful
guitar-work either."

"Dreadful name, but if Kasabian's so-so baggy revivalism can sell out
Ally Pally then this tougher, tauter bunch might well come up smelling
of roses (Stone ones, naturally)."
