‘MHz Invasion’ is the debut album from Sicilian experimental Avant-Pop duo Marco Barrano and Dario Sanguedolce founded in 2010, aka Daiquiri Fantomas.

They are indeed a cocktail of ideas, breathing life into the most diverse sound architectures by boldly experimenting with acoustic instruments and vintage electronics crossed over with new technologies. The whole sound has a distinctive “retro-futuristic” flavour, giving a nod both to the ’60s/70s (Prog, Sci-Fi movie soundtracks & Kosmische) and later adapters Stereolab and Broadcast.

‘El Morocco’ is taken from Alfa 9’s highly acclaimed second album ‘Gone To Ground’. It won BBC 6 Music’s Rebel Playlist this September, subsequently making it onto 6 Music’s official playlist for four weeks.

Recent live dates have included the Annual Liverpool Psych Fest and a headline hometown show at The Sugarmill. The band have more live dates this Autumn leading up to a support for Poltergeist in Hebden Bridge this December.

‘Beggars Can’t Be Choosers’ / ‘Tease’ is the 2nd single (double A-Side) from David Woodcock and will be available as a ltd. 500-only dinked seven-inch (Blow Up 45 Series in house bag), and follows his single debut ‘Same Things‘.

His self-titled debut album ‘David Woodcock‘ is set for release August 2014.

‘Bought And Wrapped’ is a brand new track from Sweden’s Mockingbird, Wish Me Luck – a melancholy indie-pop Christmas song which, following the band’s tradition, will be announced during Swedish advent (2012 saw them announce the release of ‘This Year‘). 

Their debut album ‘Days Come And Go‘ has now been expanded with additional tracks (released in January 2013) made the top five list of albums of the year for Sweden’s national newspaper Sydsvenskan.

‘Same Things’ is the debut single from David Woodcock and the first fruits from his forthcoming self-titled debut ‘David Woodcock‘, out this August.

The Wilds is taken from the 2nd Baltic Fleet album ‘Towers’ and forms a new EP that also contains new tracks ‘Frosklia and ‘Disinclusion’. ‘Towers’ made several End of Year Polls on its release in 2012 including Vive Le Rock & Crack Magazine.
