David Woodcockis confirmed as Steve Lamacq’s guest on BBC Radio 6 Music on Wed 6th August at 5.30pm. He’ll be interviewed for Steve’s ‘New Favourite band’ feature, coinciding with David’s debut album released the same week on Blow Up Records.

3 days later he’ll be playing at Blow Up in London for his album launch…

David Woodcock is up for the BBC 6 Music Rebel Playlist this week on the Steve Lamacq show with his forthcoming single ‘Relatively Single Man’!

David Woodcock will be doing a live in-store on Saturday 30th November at his local record shop Fives in Leigh-On-Sea at 2pm, where you can also buy ‘Beggars Can’t Be Choosers’ / ‘Tease’ on ltd. 500-only 7″ out this week.

‘Beggars Can’t Be Choosers’ / ‘Tease’ is the 2nd single (double A-Side) from David Woodcock and will be release on November 25th a ltd. 500-only seven-inch on the Blow Up 45 Series (dinked in house bag) & digital download.

David is a singer-songwriter based in his hometown of Southend-on-Sea, a pianist and prolific writer, with a strong local following he has been building up a solid songbook of sharp lyrics and great melodies that are currently being distilled into his debut album that is set for release early 2014.

‘Same Things‘ is the debut single from David Woodcock, released on Monday 29th July. This is the first fruits from the forthcoming and currently being completed debut album from Mr Woodcock, due for release this Autumn.
